You do know these F150's are a gateway drug to chainsaws & lawn tractors.

^^^^^ he's right you know. I dragged this home today.

I fail to see the problem. In fact, I was zooming in to see if I could read the model number off the hood...

It's a 2130. It was 20 minutes from my place. It was still with the original owner. I paid $100 for it. It has some issues but it runs and mows. I think it has a 38" inch deck, paint is nice, hour meter reads about 300 I think. I really haven't looked it over all that well but for $100 I'm not too worried about it. I've never had one of the AGS machines; all of the 2000 series I've played with were hydros. It's a weird system, gear driven but operates a bit like a hydro.

I bought it mostly because I wanted something with a bagger. Leaves are about to start falling and the bagger makes cleaning them up a lot easier.

All I can say to that is I'm jealous, and, sorta need the same type of thing for now. I've decided tonight were going to be moving again as soon as I can pull it together, but, who knows how long that would take.

Yea, if I had one I'd want to try what I'm thinking. That relief was in the oil pan above the oil filter.
I have an 08 Sierra with a 5.3 LMG (VIN 0). I deleted the DOD when it had 82,000 miles on the clock. I didn't do anything with that relief valve. It now has over 207,000 miles on it. Hot idle, it has about 28-30psi. Cruising down the highway, 40 psi. Cold start, maybe 50 psi. It has used some oil but when the gas price spiked, I went into miser mode and it isn't using. This is all just for y'all's information. At the time I swapped the cam and deleted the DOD, (2012), I hadn't read anything about removing that relief valve.

Yup most don't know about it, and when you drop the pan replace the O-Ring on the pickup tube with a new red one, put it back together. Did that with my truck at the 180K mark because it needed a new pan gasket. Oil Pressure cold is 60+psi, hot is around 50psi idle, that's now at 198k miles.

I knew about the red o-ring but it's a good thing to mention for any who don't.

I recently saw a YouTube where a DOD delete was done and he pulled the relief valve and put a plug in it. It was the first time I saw that. Ignorance is bliss, I guess?
