WELL, I didnt do crap to my GP, BUT i did get it's new powerplant home!! It's a LS1 out of a 99 Firebird Trans Am with a supposed 78k miles. It originally came with a auto trans but the guy sold it and now i am on the lookout for a trans. I am looking for a auto trans or maybe a T56, Plus all the other parts required to make it smog legal!.... anyways here are some pics of my GP's new engine.

Added another amp, and took some measurements and drew up some ideas for a little console.

Thought about whether I should buy a-arms, a-arm bushings, body bushings, or a custom u-joint for the steering shaft.

I have a jeep shaft. I'm "1978 challenged" though. It's not a drop in deal.

Not today, but last Saturday I replaced the timing chain with an Edelbrock double roller, new water pump and fan clutch, and got it all back together. Now I have to change the oil, reclock the distributor and prime the fuel pump, and rebuild the carb. Too bad it's pouring today!
