The Bonneville has not been wanting to start when cold, and finally just quit completely. I already swapped out the cap and coil, so I finally grabbed a spare GM HEI distributor that I got at a yard sale and blew it apart and cleaned it. I dropped it in and reset timing and all was well again.
I will say that GM distributor has a much more aggressive timing curve to it than the Chinesium one, and the engine very much liked it. That thing was spinning the tires from a roll like it was on ice.
